National park Madidi
 
Madidi has impressive landscapes ranging from long and warm rivers that flow through the forest, like the Beni and Tuichi, up to gelid puna places with crystalline lagoons and snowed summits.
Its beauty attracts tourists from all over the world, who are harbored in camping sites and Eco Lodges managed by private companies and neighboring communities to the park. The mining exploitation has as consequence the contamination of the rivers for teh use of mercury, fishing with dynamite and the oil exploration are some of the threats of the park
 
Madidi National Park and Integrated Management Area is part of the heart of the conservation corridor Villacabamba - Amborķ. Its strategic, political, biological and cultural value transforms into an area of unique importance. Located in the region of a great biological wealth of Bolivia, Madidi is one of the natural repositories of important genetic resources of the planet, in its two million hectares were almost identified already about six thousand species of plants.

HOW TO GET THERE

Rurrenabaque is a place of an absolutely calm, safe and very kind city, it is at 410 kilometers from La Paz. Located in the department of Beni.

To arrive in Rurrenabaque, there are two ways, by land and by plane.

The climate is tropical with little variation during May, June, July, August. It has different hotels, restaurants, bar pub, Internet service, telephone booths etc. San Buenaventura is in front of Rurrenabaque, it is entrance gate to the Madidi National Park, it has a five stars' hotel totally ecological “JATATAL”, it is located in the department of La Paz

Requirements to enter to Bolivia
