Dìa 1: We leave Rurrenabaque at 8:30 a.m. and travel upstream the Beni River for about 3 hours to our Lodge El Tacuaral, situated inside the Madidi National Park at the shore of the Tuichi River. Here you have some time to relax and take a juice.
Then we visit a sector called caquiawara, a large parrots and macaw clay lick inside the National Park. From an observation platform we are afforded excellent views and photo opportunities of parrots and macaws arriving to eat the clay. Then we return to our lodge to have lunch.
During a hike in the afternoon our guide demonstrates us the uses of some of the thousands of plant species, including the forest’s natural remedies for colds, fever, cuts and other ailments. Here we also have the chance to encounter some wildlife like different species of monkeys, deers, peccaries, capybaras and birds. Then we return to Rurrenabaque, where we arrive about 5:30 p.m

Dìa 1: We leave Rurrenabaque at 9:00 a.m. and travel upstream the Beni River for about 3,5 hours to our Lodge El Tacuarales, situated inside the Madidi National Park at the shore of the Tuichi River. Here lunch will be served and you have time to relax in a hammock. In the afternoon we explore some of the forest trails surrounding the lodge, where we have the chance to encounter some wildlife like howler and squirrel monkeys, deers, peccaries or capybaras. After dinner we go with our flashlights on a guided walk through the jungle to appreciate the sounds of the jungle and to observe the nocturnal wildlife.
Dìa 2: In the morning we visit the sector called caquiawara, a large parrots and macaw clay lick inside the National Park. From an observation platform we are afforded excellent views and photo opportunities of parrots and macaws arriving to eat the clay. Then we return to our lodge, where we have lunch. When we are back at the lodge we make some handicrafts with the seeds we collected during our walk in the rainforest. Then we have dinner.
Dìa 3: In the morning we visit an indigenous community of mosetenes and chimanes, where we can learn something about their architecture, habits and traditions. If you are in good physical conditions you can hike for about 6 hours though the rainforest to the community and return to the lodge by boat. But we also offer the opportunity to travel both ways by boat. When we come back to our lodge we can relax in a hammock or go swimming in the Tuichi River. Then dinner will be served.
Dìa 4: Today we go fishing on the Tuichi River or on a lake in the rainforest. Species that exist in this area include surubí pintado, pacú blanco, mamuré, surubí atigrado, and sábalo.. After lunch we can take a rest before we return by boat to Rurrenabaque, where we arrive about 5:00 p.m.
